I recorded a few resolutions, but they are the typical, boring resolutions — lose weight, be debt free, get all A’s, travel, spend more time with family, and be organized.  So, here’s a meme that will hopefully spark some ideas for you and me.  Besides, if it’s good enough for the Swiss Army Librarian, then it’s good enough for me.

5. Watched a meteor shower. (in the back of my dad’s green truck when I was a kid, laying flat on my back; not being able to see more stars is one thing I miss about living near so much light pollution)

I’ve been to DisneyWorld four times and am itching to go again.  I went with my family when I was 4 or 5, twice with my high school band, and once with my husband.

8. Climbed a mountain.
What exactly does that mean, climb a mountain? Maybe. Not really.

9. Held a praying mantis.

10. Sang a solo.

11. Bungee jumped.

12. Visited Paris.

13. Watched a lightning storm at sea.

14. Taught yourself an art from scratch.

15. Adopted a child. (maybe, maybe not)

16. Had food poisoning.

17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty. (I’ve seen it from the Staten Island Ferry.)

19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France.

20. Slept on an overnight train.

21. Had a pillow fight.

22. Hitch hiked.

23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill.

24. Built a snow fort.

(I’d be happy riding one of the gondolas in Huntsville.)

41. Sung Karaoke. (I have tried this at home.  On Thanksgiving and Christmas, I sang in the Rock Band game. I’d love to do this for real though.)

(I did pay for the guy behind me at a drive-thru one time, though.  But he wasn’t a stranger.)
